 Drinking Alcohol Must be Banned

Drinking alcohol has many well-known negatives such as worsening consumer's health. Also, it is a psychoactive drug which can control our nervous system and can adversely alter our ability of decision-making, our vision, etc.

Many people will consider this topic controversial because selling alcohol publicly contributes a large chunk of money in the form of taxes in our country's GDP. But this reason is completely bland as banning alcohol may affect those who are addicted for a short period of time, but in the run, it will make people even more productive. Increase in productivity directly compensates to the money in the GDP which was previously done by selling alcohol. Gradual decrease in death rates also will not be an unexpected thing.

Alcohol has positives too. Consuming it in limited quantities, it can adversely reduce the chances of a person being diabetic, it also prevents catching cold, etc. But, practically, drinking it rarely remains in limited quantities. 

But overall, obviously its negatives are huge in number as compared to its positives. Hence, alcohol must be banned.
